Dr Helen Sitlington PhD

As a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor at iHR Australia, Dr Helen Sitlington helps organisations investigate workplace concerns, assess people risk and navigate organisational change through practical, evidence-based advice.

Helen brings more than 25 years’ experience in human resources and employment relations across diverse industries. A former HR Director and academic at Curtin and Edith Cowan Universities, she combines academic insight with practical expertise in employment relations, strategic HR and organisational development.

Her work includes inquiries, investigations and psychosocial hazard assessments for not-for-profit organisations, government departments and private companies. She addresses matters involving bullying, harassment, serious misconduct, unprofessional behaviour, employee grievances and external complaints. Helen has also guided organisations through major change driven by strategic priorities, financial pressures and service delivery needs.

Helen holds a PhD in Human Resource Management, a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science, alongside certificates in Mediation and Conciliation, Investigation Services and Government Investigations. She is a licensed investigator in Western Australia, an AHRI Certified Practitioner and a former AHRI WA State President.
