Mary Crean

As a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor at iHR Australia, Mary Crean helps organisations investigate workplace concerns, manage post-investigation challenges and strengthen workplace culture.

Mary has conducted investigations across Australia for local government, not-for-profit organisations, multinational companies and small medical practices. Her experience includes helping organisations address longstanding cultural issues and develop practical measures to reduce future workplace conflict.

Mary’s support extends beyond the investigation itself, providing advice and recommendations to help organisations manage disruption, rebuild working relationships and determine appropriate next steps. She combines investigative expertise with a practical understanding of the challenges leaders and employees face throughout the process.

Before moving to Queensland, Mary spent 13 years practising criminal, family and civil law at the English Bar. She subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the University of Queensland and was admitted as a solicitor in 2010. Her Australian career spans state and local government and private enterprise.
