Nicolette Barnard

As a Strategic Human Resources Advisor at iHR Australia, Nicolette Barnard helps organisations strengthen people governance, develop leadership capability and align HR strategy with business priorities.

Nicolette brings more than 30 years’ experience across People and Culture and executive roles in Quality, Environment, Health and Safety management. Her career includes serving as Head of Human Resources for Siemens Australia and New Zealand, Head of HR for Africa, and HR regional speaker for Siemens in the ASEAN-Pacific region.

Her experience combines strategic HR leadership with a broad understanding of corporate operations, enabling her to take a comprehensive approach to people governance and organisational performance. At Siemens, Nicolette helped design and implement a leadership excellence program and Australia’s first Industry 4.0 digital apprenticeship, developed with Swinburne University and Ai Group and recognised at the Australian Training Awards.

Nicolette combines practical business experience with a commitment to advancing HR through industry and academic collaboration. Her approach centres on building strong relationships, supporting people and developing workforce capability to meet changing organisational needs.
